Socks of Witchcraft
Welcome to Socks of Witchcraft! This four pattern sock collection was inspired by the incredible witches in the Harry Potter series. Two designs are toe-up, two are top-down, and all of them are a lot of fun! This creative compilation of sock knitting techniques will keep your needles busy all month long… or longer!
Here are the patterns:
Clearly Determined, inspired by Ginny Weasley, is a top-down sock that pairs simple texture with clever cables for a cozy, comfortable pair of socks.
Beautifully Strong, inspired by Fleur Delacour, is a toe-up sock featuring smocked stitches and a lace cuff. Laceweight mohair is held with fingering weight sock yarn to create a sock that gives the appearance of being lofty and delicate, but is actually quite strong and warm.
(NOTE: Sportweight sock yarn can be used in place of the two held together.)
Cleverly Practical, inspired by Hermione Granger, is a toe-up sock that featuring twisted ribbing and reverse stockinette. The unique construction is both clever AND practical!
Magically Enchanting, inspired by Luna Lovegood, is a top-down, mosaic sock that uses two colors to create a unique and exciting treat for your feet!
